Our Mission

Our mission is to glorify God by proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ, to encourage all people to a personal relationship with Him and membership in His family, to facilitate spiritual maturity and to equip for ministry in the church, in the community and around the world.

Leadership Team

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

Pastor Joe Briseno
Pastor Joe is originally from El Paso, TX and attended seminary at Oral Roberts University. He has been in full-time ministry for 29 years, and most recently as a hospice chaplain in central IL. In a very short time we have seen for ourselves his passion for teaching the Word of God and healing broken people. Joe is father to three daughters, two son-in-laws, has four grandchildren, is a marathon runner, and sports enthusiast.   He looks forward to following area school events and influencing young people in the ways of the Lord.

Music and Worship Leaders
The Bible has a lot to say about music and worship, and these ladies lead the church’s worship of God in a way that matches the character of God. They are gifted with a passion to bring praise and worship before the Lord through varied musical styles. They are keenly aware that God inhabits the praise of His people. It’s all about Him!

Dawn Adrian, Outreach Coordinator

There is so much to be said for the “doers” of the faith. Dawn is one of many “doers” at Locust Grove.  She has a desire to help equip and serve not only the families at Locust Grove but all of the people God brings along her path. Dawn and her husband, Melvin, have three children, Aubrey, Riley, and Griffin. She loves to see her passions meet people’s needs and God’s work in the Church.
