Ask any young person what they like about Easter—you’ll hear the commercial buzz words—

jelly beans, colored eggs, chocolate bunnies, and marshmallow peeps.  But the truth is, whether

you believe it or not, it’s about the cross.  It’s shape tells the greatest love story ever.  The

upright beam represents God’s relationship with man,

the horizontal beam, our relationship to each other.

You may think it strange that the hero of the Easter story is the One who dies.  But it was a death

with a purpose.  God so loved the world He provided a rescue plan at the enormous cost of

sending His only Son to the cross. The mob did not take Jesus life, He laid it down for you and

for me.  Three days after that dark day, Jesus defeated death and the grave.

Believing Christ died is history.  Believing He died for you is salvation.

Love led Jesus to Calvary, but He’s living today!

Make your heart His home!
